Capital Works for our Communities

The focus of the program is to upgrade and add new and necessary facilities for our communities. The plan is to consult with the communities and assess their specific needs. GEPL will be responsible for implementing the Capital Works Program.

The communities to be included are Youngaleena, Wakathuni, Bellary springs, Wirrilimarra, Mingullatharndoo and Peedamulla.

Lore Camps

Having great cultural significance to our communities, the Gumala Lore Camps are in need of additional facilities. As with the Capital Works for our Communities Program, GAC is striving to create new facilities and improve existing facilities for these camps. The Lore Camps that will be focussed on are Youngaleena, Wakathuni, Bellary Springs, Wirrilimarra and Cane River.
