Mobile Health Clinic

Gumala Aboriginal Corporation and Murdoch University are currently progressing in a proposal to get a Mobile health Clinic up and running for Gumala's Members living in the Pilbara.

The aim of the project is to provide a clinic-based health and education facility to our Members who are living a distance from any other health care in the Pilbara. This is a mobile service via a large, specially equipped truck with Medical professionals providing care to our communities.

Gumala's comprehensive Health Needs Analysis and Survey of Gumala Members is ear-marked from completion by the end of 2010. At the same time, Murdoch University is undertaking an Education Survey. Following the completion of these vital steps, the Mobile Health Clinc project  will become a reality, creating real differences in health outcomes for our Members.
