Education Support and Gumala Scholarship Programs
Gumala is extremely proud of our Members and our Members' children who are receiving quality educations thanks to their dedication, highly supportive families and Gumala’s education funding assistance.
Funds that Gumala has expended on the educations of our Members and their children more than doubled in the 2009–10 financial year when compared to the previous financial year, and is expected to more than double again during the 2010–11 financial year.
Such has been the massive growth of this funding category, that Gumala has established a dedicated Education Office, as well as additional Member Services Unit (MSU) staff to help manage and process the large volume of applications.

School partnerships
In addition, Gumala has secured partnerships with over 20 schools throughout Western Australia. These partnerships are tailored to suit individual schools, staff and Gumala Members. The various agreements cover school expenses such as school fees, lunches, excursions, country week and cadets. Each agreement varies depending on the school.
