Lore and Culture

Gumala Aboriginal Corporation continues to fully support our Traditional Owners’ culture and tradition through our Lore and Culture programs, which consist of: The Lore and Culture Travel Assistance Program; Lore and Culture Family Funding; The Funeral Program; The Funeral Travel Assistance Program; and The Headstone Program.

The Headstone Program assists families in purchasing headstones for persons who have been deceased for some time, where there are no markings to identify the grave site and where, for cultural reasons, a marking is important.

The aim of both the Lore and Culture Family Funding Program and the Lore and Culture Travel Assistance Program is to provide assistance to Gumala Members and Gumala Beneficiaries attending Lore Ceremonies.
